The last movie of the Aim workshop 2023. One of our volunteers from Germany, Henri, together with students from Aldersgate Methodist School in Komenda again chose a historical topic for their last movie project. The movie, though completely fictional, is based on resistance by fante villages in the Gold Coast (nowadays Ghana), against the Dutch colonial power. The dutch and Gold Coast ended in 1872 their colony because there was too much conflict with the fante villages. The movie plays in a fictional town and is a story about resistance, loss, tragedy and love. below are some of the pictures taken during the shooting scenes.
